- Select a GN format such as 1/1, 1/2 or 1/3, then compare the depths and capacities listed for that specific series.
- Check outer dimensions and equipment clearance instead of selecting by capacity alone.
- Confirm the exact pan and lid codes with the team; similar format names do not establish a match across different materials or series.

Can I order a lid by the GN fraction alone?
Share the full pan code and preferred lid type. Ask the team to confirm the matching lid for that pan series before placing the order.
Select GN pans by footprint, depth and material
A GN format describes the pan footprint. To specify a complete setup, also choose the required depth, material, lid and intended application. Overall carrier or equipment dimensions alone do not confirm a particular pan fits.
- Specify the GN format and depth for each item.
- Identify the product material and operating requirements.
- Confirm the matching lid series and any handles or seals.
- Check the actual equipment or carrier model and usable clearances.

Kenford publishes more than one GN product range. Similar format names do not mean the products, capacities or lids are interchangeable. Start with the product-code family below.
